Fibre Optic Installations
Fibre links that carry your network further without compromise.
Fibre Optics explained
Fibre is the right answer wherever distance, interference or bandwidth demand rules out copper. We install internal and external fibre for homes, offices, estates and multi-building properties: from a single link between a gatehouse and the main house to a full estate backbone feeding several distribution points.
Our work includes ducting and route preparation, cable pulling, fusion splicing, termination into patch panels and OTDR or light-source testing, with results recorded and handed over. The result is a link that performs to specification from day one and remains serviceable years later.
01
Building-to-building links
Aerial, ducted or trench routes connecting separate buildings on one property.
02
Estate & campus backbones
Distribution fibre feeding multiple cabinets, gatehouses and shared facilities.
03
Fusion splicing & termination
Splice trays, pigtails, patch panels and enclosures built to standard.
04
Testing & certification
Insertion loss and OTDR testing with documented results per link.
05
Fibre-to-the-home distribution
Internal distribution from the provider handover point to living areas and outbuildings.
Where this service is used
The same discipline applied differently depending on who uses the property and what it needs to do.
Residential applications
- Fibre from the boundary handover to the main distribution point
- Links to garden cottages, studios and gatehouses
- Backbones for large properties with outbuildings
- Prepared pathways for future expansion
Commercial applications
- Inter-building links on office and warehouse parks
- Estate and campus distribution fibre
- Fibre risers between floors in commercial buildings
- Redundant paths for business-critical networks
Four stages, no surprises
The same sequence on every project, whether it is a single camera or a full commercial cabling installation.
Consultation & requirements assessment
We discuss what you need the property to do, what is failing today and what budget you have in mind. You receive a clear scope rather than a vague estimate.
Site inspection & technical planning
We inspect the property, confirm cable routes, equipment positions and power availability, then document the design and quote.
Professional installation & configuration
Installation is carried out to the agreed plan with tidy routing and minimal disruption. Systems are configured, not just connected.
Testing, commissioning & handover
Everything is tested, labelled and demonstrated. You receive documentation and a walkthrough of how to use what was installed.

If your question is not answered here, call or WhatsApp us — we answer technical questions before you commit to anything.
Not always. Copper can be adequate over short indoor distances, but fibre is preferable wherever runs pass between buildings, near electrical infrastructure or exceed about 90 metres.
